An Indian woman, based in US, who was hired at Meta as an AI research scientist nine months ago, has been laid off, reports said. In an X post, she said she's on an H1-B visa, adding, "I’m looking for opportunities; please reach out!" Recently, Meta announced that it is cutting over 600 jobs from its AI Superintelligence Labs.
