Indian Air Force (IAF) has emerged as the sixth biggest global airpower, according to World Directory of Modern Military Aircraft. US Air Force, US Navy, Russian Air Force, US Army and US Marines rank above IAF. China's PLAAF is placed seventh while Pakistan Air Force ranks 18th. IAF has been ranked ahead of PLAAF for fifth straight time since 2022.
