Indian airlines' revenue fell by 85% in April-June: Aviation Minister

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that revenue of Indian airlines fell by 85.7% to ₹3,651 crore in April-June 2020 as compared to ₹25,517 crore in the same period last year. Employee count of airlines fell by 7.07% from March to July. In India, domestic flights were suspended from March 25 to May 24 due to the COVID-19-induced lockdown.
