An analysis of several flights and rough calculations based on increased flight time showed ₹77-crore extra weekly expenses for overseas flights operating from north Indian cities, PTI reported. This comes after Pakistan closed its airspace for all Indian flights in response to India's retaliation following Pahalgam terror attack. The additional monthly operational costs could be over ₹306 crore.
