Indian airports can now offer security to foreign airlines

Foreign airlines in India can now contract airport operators for security services, previously handled only by domestic airline staff. This move by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) opens competition and reduces service disruptions, following concerns raised by SpiceJet's financial instability.
