Indian archer Harvinder Singh wins gold medal at Paralympics, creates history

India's 33-year-old archer Harvinder Singh on Wednesday created history by becoming the first-ever Indian archer to win gold medal at Paralympics. Harvinder bagged gold medal in the men's individual recurve open event at Paris Paralympics. He defeated Poland's Lukasz Ciszek 6-0 in the final. Harvinder had won bronze medal at the Tokyo Paralympics.
