Combined market capitalisation (m-cap) of the 18 Indian defence stocks hit a record high of ₹11.23 lakh crore, up 50% from the February low of ₹6.95 lakh crore. The previous record high hit by the sector's stocks was in July 2024 at ₹10.09 lakh crore. Indian defence stocks have seen a massive surge following the country's success in Operation Sindoor.
