Indian economy's 8.2% growth rate in the financial year 2023-24 is the highest among major economies of the world, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said. She noted that manufacturing sector witnessed a significant growth of 9.9% during FY24 and that Indian economy continues to remain resilient despite global challenges. In the previous financial year, India's GDP growth stood at 7%.
