An alliance of key stakeholders in the carbon markets, the Carbon Markets Association of India (CMAI), has been formed to develop a carbon credit market to achieve energy transition goals. CMAI President Manish Dabkara said CMAI would act as a mediator between government and industries. The association includes Gautam Adani's Adani Group and Dabkara's EKI Energy Services, among other firms.
