Indian-origin entrepreneur Sharran Srivatsaa recalled Goldman Sachs hired him after 39 interviews. Recalling one 46-second interview, Srivatsaa said a Goldman Sachs MD showed up "frazzled", gave him contact information and asked to set up a meeting. Srivatsaa paused and asked if there was a script to use while calling, following which the MD said, "You'll do great," and left.
