India's merchandise trade deficit in April 2025 widened to $26.42 billion from $21.54 billion in March 2025. The merchandise exports rose 9% YoY to $38.49 billion, while its imports increased 19% YoY to $64.91 billion in April. Additionally, services exports increased 17% YoY to $35.31 billion, while its imports rose 4.6% YoY to $17.54 billion in the same period.
