An Indian national, Partap Singh, who entered US illegally, has been arrested for causing a multi-car crash in California last year. The crash injured a 5-year-old girl, who now requires lifelong therapy. Singh was driving a commercial 18-wheeler at unsafe speed and had license issued by California's Department of Motor Vehicles. He is currently in Immigration and Customs Enforcement's custody.
