Indian-origin filmmaker Geeta Gandbhir has earned two nominations for two separate films at the 2026 Oscars. With this, Gandbhir has made history by becoming the only woman to achieve this feat in the Oscars' nearly 100-year history. She is nominated for best documentary feature for 'The Perfect Neighbor' and best documentary short for 'The Devil is Busy'.
