Indian-origin US-based entrepreneur Raj Peter Bhakta plans to donate a ₹180-crore college campus he owns in US to a beneficiary committed to promoting Catholicism. He had purchased the 115-155-acre Green Mountain College campus at auction in 2020 after its closure in 2019. He said he seeks to "return the site to its original Christian calling", referencing its 1834 Methodist roots.
