Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) suspended an Indian-origin PhD student Prahlad Iyengar over his pro-Palestine essay in a college magazine last month. The institute found that it calls for "more violent...forms of protests at MIT". However, Iyengar claimed the institute's "terrorism" charge was because Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine's (PFLP) images were used in his essay.
