Indian-origin techie Arch Rao's startup SPAN has introduced fractional data centres called XFRA units, which it plans to put on the side of residential and small commercial properties with Nvidia's help. The units will utilise unused electrical capacity on local grids, with Rao calling it an "infrastructure play". The units will include Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs.
