An Indian-origin woman was sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment by a court in England after she was found guilty of conning retailers and other businesses out of £500,000 (over ₹5 crore). Narinder Kaur, 54, travelled across the UK, deceiving stores into issuing refunds for items she had actually stolen. Kaur defrauded retailers over a thousand times between 2015 and 2019.
