Indian para powerlifter Ashok fell short of a bronze medal by 9.7 points in the Men's Lightweight Final at the Commonwealth Games 2026. He finished 4th despite lifting 200kg and gained 143.8 points to register his personal best. The other Indian in the same category, Parmjeet Kumar, finished 7th with 135.6 points after a successful lift of 176 kg.
