Indian pilot recounts co-pilot attack on Dubai-Tel Aviv flight

Indian Flydubai captain Smit Machchhar described being repeatedly struck by his co-pilot mid-flight on September 30, causing the aircraft to plunge 17,000 feet in under a minute. Despite injuries and blackouts, he opened the cockpit door; passengers and off-duty pilots restrained the attacker and landed the plane safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. All survived.
