Indian Railways has launched an online personal luggage booking facility for passengers with confirmed reserved tickets from July 31. Travellers can now book and pay for excess luggage while reserving tickets online, eliminating the need to visit parcel offices. Existing free luggage allowances and maximum weight limits remain unchanged, making the process more convenient.
