WhatsApp has fixed a privacy issue that caused phone numbers of some users to appear in Google Search results. The fix comes days after India-based researcher Athul Jayaram revealed the issue. He said that the phone number of WhatsApp users who created a link to allow others to chat with them or join a group appeared in search results.
