Indian scientists open path to un-hackable digital security with simple single qubit tests

Scientists at Raman Research Institute have developed a new way to achieve Certified Quantum Randomness using simple time-based tests on a single qubit. "This opens a path toward un-hackable digital security," a government press release said. The research broadens the capabilities of quantum computers from solving specialised problems to offering a "resource for secure communications", it added.
