A 31-year-old Indian man in Singapore has been sentenced to 13 years in jail and 12 strokes of the cane after pleading guilty to one charge of sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl and two charges of attempted statutory rape. The offence came to light after the convict's girlfriend found a video of the naked minor on his phone.
