In the past 10 years of Startup India, companies have raised about $151 billion and created 118 unicorns, data from a market intelligence platform showed. Between 2016 and 2026, startups raised this capital across more than 25,000 funding rounds. The capital inflows surged in 2021 when Indian startups raised $38.7 billion, the highest annual total on record.
