Indian student Charanpreet Singh was severely assaulted in Adelaide while visiting a city light display with his wife. Five men allegedly attacked him with metal knuckles, shouting racial slurs. Singh suffered brain trauma and facial fractures. However, only one suspect has been arrested while others remain at large. The attack is being investigated as racially motivated.
