IIT-Delhi alumnus Jyoti Bansal told Business Insider that he moved to US in 2000 and worked at startups there for over seven years, until he got his green card. He then launched his own startup called AppDynamics, which he couldn't do till he was on H-1B visa. He then sold AppDynamics to Cisco in 2017 for $3.7 billion.
