Amrutesh Vallabhaneni, an Indian techie on H-1B visa, sued Indian-origin Pavan Tata's Siri Software, alleging it made him do forced labour by promising Green Card sponsorship. Vallabhaneni said Siri "weaponised" H-1B visa program, forcing him to cover his own salary for six months. Jay Palmer, who worked on the lawsuit, called the situation a 'Squid Game' for Indian workers.
