A 30-year-old Indian techie, Mohammed Nizamuddin, was shot dead by the police in US' California. Police said he was shot after he was found inside his residence with a knife while pinning down his roommate, who had sustained several injuries on September 3. However, Nizamuddin's family in India alleged racial discrimination and sought government's help to transport his mortal remains.
