A 25-year-old Indian tourist was jailed in Singapore for molesting a 12-year-old girl at a swimming complex and sending her inappropriate messages online. The man had followed the girl to washroom and forcibly accessed her phone. In Singapore, the punishment for molesting a minor aged below 14 can be jail term of several years/fine/caning or a combination of the three.
