Indian war veteran who stayed in Chinese captivity in 1962 dies

Brigadier (retired) Amar Jit Singh Behl, who retired from Army in 1995, has passed away at a hospital in Haryana. The 82-year-old was suffering from age-related issues. Behl, who fought the 1962 Indo-China war, was taken as a prisoner of war by the Chinese and stayed in captivity before being repatriated to India. He also fought against Pakistan in 1971.
