Novartis CEO Vas Narasimhan said Indian-origin CEOs owed their success to their forefathers who worked hard to give them better opportunities. Narasimhan further stated, "All of us haven't gotten together to discuss it, but I know Indian-origin CEOs do take...pride in their identity." He also said it was "amazing" to see so many Indian-origin people in top leadership positions.
