A UK court has sentenced a 67-year-old Indian-origin pharmacist, who allegedly supplied a drug addict with illegal under-the-counter drugs, to 18 months in prison. Police identified Dushyant Patel as a suspect four months after the woman he supplied drugs to died in August 2020. Patel has not been charged with any offence in relation to her death.
