Elon Musk-led electric carmaker Tesla on Monday named 45-year-old Indian-origin executive Vaibhav Taneja as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Taneja will serve as CFO in addition to his current role as Tesla's Chief Accounting Officer. He succeeds Zachary Kirkhorn, who stepped down as of August 4 after a 13-year tenure with the company.
