Indians exempted from mandatory $20,000 bond for US visa

The US permanently adopted its visa bond programme, allowing authorities to require applicants from around 50 designated countries to deposit up to $20,000 (around ₹20 lakh) before receiving tourist or business visas. India has been excluded from the current list, meaning Indian travellers can continue applying for US visitor visas without paying this refundable bond.
