Informatica, led by Indian-origin CEO Amit Walia, will fire 545 employees or 10% of the AI startup's workforce despite the firm's strong quarterly financial growth. Informatica named the job cuts "November Plan" and said they'll be completed by the July-September 2024 quarter. Despite the layoffs, Walia said, "Our team delivered another quarter exceeding guidance for the top and bottom line."
