India's average 4G download speed of 5.1Mbps is the lowest in the world, according to a report by London-based OpenSignal. With average 4G speed less than one-third of the 16.2Mbps global average, India is ranked 74th, behind Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The report said that surge in data usage due to Reliance Jio has driven down the download speeds.
