India's Composite PMI falls from 37-month high

The Nikkei India Composite PMI Output Index, which maps both manufacturing and services sectors, fell to 52.8 in April from a 37-month high of 54.3 in March. Activity growth across India's private sector remained low in the month, analysts said. Meanwhile, India's Services Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) fell to 53.7 from 54.3 in March. The 50-mark distinguishes expansion from contraction.
