India's COVID-19 cases per million are 538, world average is 1,453: Govt

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Thursday stated, "We are seeing on TV that India has become the 3rd most COVID-19 affected country." He added, "It is necessary to see this in the correct perspective, we are a country with the 2nd highest population in the world. Our cases per million are 538, while the world average is 1,453."
