India's first 5G-enabled drone, Skyhawk, capable of vertical take-off and landing has been developed by Noida-based IG Drones. The startup was born out of the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology institute in Odisha. Skyhawk can carry a 10-kilogramme payload, has an endurance of around five hours and can operate through satellites in case an internet link is unavailable.
