India's first IVF calf of Banni buffalo breed was born at a farmer's house in Gujarat's Gir Somnath district. The process was carried out to enhance number of genetically superior buffaloes to increase milk production, an official said. "This is the first IVF Banni calf born out of 6 Banni IVF pregnancies established at...doorsteps of farmer...Vinay L Wala," said government.
