Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam has announced that its green bond issue, which is the first by a municipal corporation in India, was successfully listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday. Last week, the corporation raised ₹150 crore through the issue for the construction of a sewage treatment plant. It is the second corporation to raise funds in Uttar Pradesh.
