India's GDP could fall 90% by 2100 due to global warming: Oxford Economics

Hotter temperatures by 2100 could cut India's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by 90%, according to a study by global forecasting firm Oxford Economics. It forecast that a 3°C of warming by 2100 has the potential to slash global GDP by 21%. India's GDP might have been about 25% higher without warming that has happened up to 2019, the firm added.
