The highest altitude herbal garden in India was inaugurated on Saturday in Mana village in Uttarakhand's Chamoli. The garden, which is situated at 11,000 feet, has around 40 species found in high altitude alpine areas in the Himalayan region. Some of these species are endangered or threatened as per International Union for Conservation of Nature red list.
