India's industrial output, measured in terms of the Index of Industrial Production (IIP), witnessed a growth of 1.9% in March, up from 1.5% in February. This comes after data released on April 29 showed output of India's eight core sectors grew 4.3% YoY in March 2022, down from 6% in February 2022. The eight sectors account for 40.3% of IIP.
