Indian sprinter Jinson Johnson broke a 23-year-old national record in his fifth place-winning performance in the men's 1,500m sprint at the CWG 2018 on Saturday. The 27-year-old bettered the earlier record by a margin of a few milliseconds. India has three medals in athletics in CWG 2018, including Neeraj Chopra's gold in javelin throw.
