India's nominal GDP to grow 19% in FY22, estimates Finance Ministry

The country's GDP is likely to bounce back to grow by as much as 19% in nominal terms in the financial year 2021-22, according to the Finance Ministry's estimates. Nominal GDP is an assessment which includes the current prices of goods and services in its calculation. In the first quarter of this financial year, the nominal GDP contracted by 22.6%.
