Asia's oldest elephant in captivity 'Gaja Muthassi' Dakshayani passed away aged 88 on Tuesday due to age-related problems. Also known as 'granny elephant', Dakshayani had been living in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala for the last 70 years. Dakshayani had entered the Universal Record Forum three years ago, which is one step below the Guinness World Records.
