India's payment system faster than US, Europe: G20 Sherpa Kant

India's payment system is faster compared to the US, Europe and China, former NITI Aayog CEO and G20 Sherpa of India, Amitabh Kant, said on Saturday at the inception meeting of Startup20 in Hyderabad. "Earlier, opening a bank account in India took eight to nine months, whereas today it's possible within a minute using biometrics," Kant added.
