India's tallest ATC tower starts operations at Delhi airport

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Monday inaugurated India's tallest Air Traffic Control tower measuring 102 metres at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. The tower and its facilities were built at a cost of ₹350 crore, Airports Authority of India (AAI) Chairman Anuj Aggarwal said. Only eight ATC towers worldwide are taller than the newly commissioned Delhi ATC tower.
