IndiGo on Monday announced the appointment of ex-British Airways CEO William Walsh as its new chief executive. This comes after Pieter Elbers resigned as CEO on March 10, months after the airline's mass flight cancellation caused nationwide chaos. Walsh, currently the Director ​General of ​International Air Transport ⁠Association (IATA), is expected to join no later than August 3, said IndiGo.
